I wanted to take a second and express my feelings about Louise Post and Veruca Salt.

Being in the music industry allows me to meet many gifted musicians. Its exciting for me, but at the same time its always business........Anyway, years ago I heard a Veruca Salt song called "Seether," and went out and bought "American Thighs." I was blown away at how cool this band sounded, great song writing, great vocals, and great tones. When "Eight arms to hold you" came out, I was beyond blown away. Its kind of funny for me, I've never been too excited about meeting recording artists. It's cool, but we all do have the same color blood, so I never get star struck!

Meeting Louise Post was the most exciting thing to happen to me since being in this business I'm in. I was fortunate enough to spend the day with her in the studio, and got to see her work in person. She's an amazing song writer/singer/guitarplayer. Oh, and she's real cool too! If you haven't listened to any Veruca Salt yet, I suggest you do.

Thank you Louise for being a friend, and such a talented musician. We love you and Veruca Salt!

My Love for Roccaforte Amps (HG100 model w/mods)

This magnificent high gain amp came into my life at the beginning of the recording of VSIV and quickly became our "go to" amp throughout the entire album. (Any guitar player will understand the importance of that) The distortion on this amp is versatile, multi-dimensional and balls-to-the-wall heavy-as-shit. You can dial it in to a variety of tones, all unique, as if they're coming from different amps. We used it across the album, layered it, or alone, cause it is so dense and full by itself. The clean amp is also a gem; Pedals sound great through it, and it is lovely on its own--clean or slightly distorted. It's hard to put into words why an amp sounds perfect. But if I didn't love it so much, I wouldn't lay down in the grass with it and get big bug bites for the sake of a photo, I promise you!!!!
